Walk Info The route will take us over the Heights of Abraham and then descend via Bonsall to cross to the High Peak Trail. We descend to the canal and stroll on the level back to our starting point.

Heading along valley path by the Via Gellia to repeat the infamous "Lost Ladies" climb. Then across high ground near Middleton to reach the High Peak Trail. Descend to High Peak Junction and return along the canalside.

Assuming that you are heading north along the A6, turn right at the traffic lights as you approach Matlock Bath. There is a short narrow section past the Visitors(or Craft) Centre and then the car park is on your left.
 
We will start from Cromford Wharf - across the road.
