Big climbs Total of 460m ascent/descent. A stiff 100m climb near the start. Some knobbly paths on the last part of the walk.

Start At the disused Miller's Dale Station car park. [Pay & display]

Travel Follow the A6 from Bakewell towards Buxton and beyond the halfway point turn right on to the B6049 to Tideswell. After 1.5miles fork left up the hill to the station.
 
Quickest possible time from Loughborough 93min for 56 miles
Allow for traffic delays etc.

Extra Info The name Chee Dale Epic comes from a previous visit with thunder lightning and torrential rain! We hope for good weather this time.
The final section back along the river is my favourite walk in all of the Peak District. (Gordon)
