[031z] The walk starts the same way as the longer one and shares the special coffee stop. It arrives at a pleasant pub in Calver and finishes with a formidable 300m climb. If you can persuade your car driver to collect you at the pub then the route is 10.5km and 80m of ascent. |

| Travel | A619 from Chesterfield to Baslow. Then A623 to Calver. On entering the village turn R into the road set back from the main one. Take the right hand road of the pair and follow it steeply uphill for less than a mile. Car park on left.
